I didn't see all my favourite people in costume last night — but this is a pretty good looking bunch, isn't it? And a good time was had by all!

Fell Back!
Or, at least two clocks, the microwave and one watch did. I'll be working on the rest this morning, I guess. The forecast looks like it brings nice cool running weather to New York City today — hopefully the marathoners will profit from it. Go Lauren! Go Jean! And as thousands and thousands of people run 26.2 in the Big Apple, Mark Sutcliffe points out that big events are great but smaller races have their charms too.

I agree with Mr. Sutcliffe concerning smaller races. On many Saturdays and/or Sundays I woke up in my own bed, got up and dressed headed to the race site, found a close parking spot, visited with friends, picked up my race number at the registration table, and joined the group just before the start.
Afterwards, the warm glow of the race remained as I visited some more and headed home.
Yes, I'm enjoying the smaller races now too Wendy, fun times but then it just depends upon where you are at training wise too.
I like going with friends and then out for lunch afterwards, it is all about fun time now...
Aw, cuties!
Sweet monkey!
I love smaller events! One day, though, perhaps I'll do NYCM just to see the city. I probably would not otherwise.
Very cute costumed bunch!!
