Memorial celebration
A memorial celebration of Wendy's life will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road in Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday, June 30th, 2010. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until Words of Remembrance at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the United Way, Good Companions, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of donor's choice would be appreciated.

Dear Wendy,
I just never had a chance to say goodbye. It's been hard to think of everything that I wanted to say to you because I only knew you through blogging but you were still a very loyal, dedicated and authentic person in my life. Thank you for that.
I was telling my husband this morning that your love and appreciation for nature, animals and life around you made your blog a wonderful place to visit every day. I always knew you'd have a picture of The Boarder or of a bird from your yard. As I write this, your last blog post even had the fish and water shots from your trip. They brought tears to my eyes.
So, Wendy, even though I had never met you personally , I thank you for being a friend. You touched my life and we will all miss you terribly.
